Minor International (Anantara)

Who they are

Minor International Public Company Limited is a Bangkok-based hospitality and restaurant group listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand under the ticker MINT. Its hotel business began in 1978, when Royal Garden Resort Co., Ltd. opened Royal Garden Resort Pattaya, known today as AVANI Pattaya Resort & Spa. In 2001 the group created Anantara, its first own luxury hotel brand. Minor Hotels now also runs AVANI, Oaks, Tivoli and NH Hotel Group. The head office is at The PARQ on Ratchadaphisek Road, Bangkok.

Residential development has been part of the group since 2006, when it launched The Estates Samui next to Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui. Its branded residences in Thailand also include The Residences at St. Regis Bangkok and The Residences at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai.

On Phuket

The Phuket portfolio sits in Layan Bay, a 100-rai beachfront enclave in Cherngtalay, Thalang. The bay is home to the five-star Anantara Layan Phuket Resort, the Beach House venue, the Layan Active Zone sports complex and the Layan Life by Anantara wellness clinic.

• Layan Residences by Anantara: 15 private pool villas with three to seven bedrooms on a hillside above Layan Bay, developed by Minor International and serviced by Anantara Layan Phuket Resort
• Avadina Hills by Anantara: 11 pool villas with four to ten bedrooms, developed with joint venture partner Kajima, a construction and development company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange; the minimalist design draws on Japanese heritage
• Kiara Reserve: 46 residences, 17 villas and 29 condominiums with three or four bedrooms, from 251 to 829 sq m, each with a private pool; developed in partnership by Minor International and Kajima and managed by Minor Hotels

Layan Residences by Anantara and Avadina Hills by Anantara are established communities. Kiara Reserve is under construction, and the project site published its latest construction update in February 2026. We sell Kiara Reserve.
