Who they are

Banyan Group is the trading name of Banyan Tree Holdings Limited, a hospitality group incorporated in Singapore and listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX: B58). The group was founded in 1994 and grew from a single resort in Phuket into a portfolio of ten brands, among them Banyan Tree, Angsana, Cassia, Garrya and Laguna.

On Phuket the group works through Laguna Resorts & Hotels Public Company Limited (LRH), listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand since 1993. Banyan Tree Holdings indirectly holds 86.28% of LRH. LRH runs Laguna Phuket, the integrated resort on Bang Tao Bay built on the site of a former tin mine.

What they build

Residences linked to the group hotels and to Laguna Phuket: beachfront and lagoon villas, townhomes, condominiums and penthouses. Sales run through Banyan Group Residences under the Banyan Tree, Angsana, Cassia, Garrya, Laguna, Bellaguna and Skypark names. The newest neighbourhood, Laguna Lakelands, is a residential community set within one square kilometre of hills, forest and lakes, with its own beach club.

Track record

• Property sales at Laguna Phuket started in 1993 with the Allamanda condominiums; the first phase of Banyan Tree Residences went on sale in 1997; Laguna Property started operations in 2001.
• Completed projects as of 31 December 2025: Angsana Beachfront Residences, Angsana Oceanview Residences, Laguna Beach Residences Reef, Laguna Beach Residences Seashore, Laguna Lakeside Residences and Skypark Aurora.
• Handovers to owners in 2025: Angsana Oceanview Residences 2 and 3, Laguna Beachside, Skypark Celeste, Laguna Seaside and Banyan Tree Oceanfront Villas.
• Awards: Banyan Tree Grand Residences won Best Residential Property in Thailand at the International Property Awards 2017–2018. Laguna Lakelands Waterfront Villas won Residential Property Thailand at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2025–2026 and 2026–2027, and Laguna Lakelands won Best Development Marketing (Thailand) at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2025–2026.
